A BRIEF DESCRIPTION
Carbon Care Hard Water Treatment is a process that uses Radio Frequencies at Sonic
Frequency levels to generate a change in the structure of hard water minerals in water
Treatment is usually applied to the Rising Main in any building or industrial process.
Depending on the specific water heating arrangements an additional treatment is applied to
the Secondary hot Water Return pipe(s) to Calorifiers and Plate Heat Exchangers. This re–
energises the treatment in hot water as it re-enters the plant and helps keep them cleaner.
The application of the Sonic Frequencies is through signal cabling that is wound around
designated pipes. Sonic Frequencies are applied to the coils with sufficient power to
transform hard scale particles to a powder. Treated water containing the powder will go on
to de-scale existing plumbing, heating elements plant and appliances.
The powder may settle in areas where water has little movement but is easily cleaned during
scheduled maintenance periods.
Treated water flowing through the building or industrial process retains its effect for up to 7
days on a depreciating scale that allows it to stand in storage tanks for a period and remain
effective. This is an advantage where water flow is not constant.
Effects of the treatment can be seen in a short space of time after application in hot water
pipes, water pipes, water heaters, steam humidifiers, wall mounted boilers, showers, urinals
kitchen equipment etc. Cooling Towers also benefit from specific applications of this
treatment.
Carbon Care Hard Water Treatment can replace base exchange water softeners.
A major by-product of this treatment is the effect on bacteria where the Sonic Frequencies
process affects the bacteria making it more susceptible to existing chemicals in the water.
Carbon Care treatment improves the quality of the water used in buildings and industrial
processes by producing cleaner, healthier water.
